December 1 is World AIDS Day

Today, the families of the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children stand together with other organizations, health institutes and departments, agencies, and community groups from around the world to share a message that HIV and AIDS is an illness that affects more than 33 million people across the globe… yet, the medical and service community knows that we can stop the spread of the virus. In our lifetime. We can do this through prevention, testing, and support for those who are living with the illness. We can do this through advocating for prevention education and programs that are targeted to local communities. ARFC's presence in the neighborhoods across New Jersey are working to address treatment adherence, housing instability, mental health, and the complexity of raising a family in the context of chronic illness and stigma.

We are committed to this work and mission of the ARFC. Stand with us as we remember those who have paved the way for all of us -- those who fought, those who struggled, those who left loved ones behind. Stand with us as we honor those who are still walking with us today and those who rely on us for strength. Stand with ARFC as we set a fast pace towards stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS.

ARFC Co-founders to be honored at Hyacinth Gala

On November 2, the Hyacinth AIDS Foundation will honor those who have made a difference in the fight against HIV and AIDS. The Co-founders of ARFC, Terry and Faye Zealand, are deeply touched to be among the honorees this year. We invite all of ARFC's supporters to attend the event and celebrate the work of those who created a vision for a healthier New Jersey.

THANK YOU

The Empire Supporters Club, home of the largest and loudest NY/NJ Red Bulls fans, took time out to raise awareness and over $2,000 for AIDS Resource Foundation for Children. They tapped into the collective power of their enthusiasm and took action to help one of their communities. We are grateful for the ongoing support that this fan club has shared with us over the years. Join ARFC in thanking them by saying hello at a future soccer game!!
